It's that time of year again, folks. By the time you read this, you're likely IN the new year and woo hoo for that! Yay!

Yes.. 2017 is now officially behind us and I think I might be one of the few who actually had a good 2017. Though that might be due to my 2016 being a bit of a medical clusterf**k! With this said I can look back at 2017 and be grateful about a lot of things. I think that is one of the things that SHOULD happen at New Years Eve. Have a few drinks but also have a kind thought for all the good stuff that happened this year. Be thankful about those things and be extra thankful that Trump hasn't caused World War III, hey?

Where’s Your Health At?

Such an obtuse question for an article title, hey? Though just to mess with you even more, say the title but also think of Basement Jaxx's song "Where's Your Head At" and suddenly you cannot escape it unless of course you don't know the song or you're too busy with the "Murder, She Wrote" theme song in your head - to both I ask - WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

A question that we should all be asking ourselves is indeed - Where are we at with our own health and more accurately - are we looking after it?

Post Valentine Day Apocalypse

Another year, another Hallmark Valentine's Day. I like to think that you should show your significant other that you value and love them every day which ultimately makes Valentine's Day a pointless exercise. Save for buying cards, flowers and chocolates. Giving gifts is nice and all but often certain indulgences are what sabotage our health and fitness goals. Like I said - a pointless exercise.

Morning Tea Mania

Believe it or not, I wasn't always a PT - I used to work an office job. I actually really enjoyed it too. The company I worked for looked after us and were keen to ensure we were all happy little worker bees doing our jobs. One of the tactics used was having a Morning Tea where we all brought in a bread scroll, a $4 Coles Chocolate cake or if we were really lucky... someone would make cupcakes. If your life goal was to become obese and immediately diabetic - our office morning tea was the place to be.
