Leg Press can be challenging – especially if you are doing single leg! So! for this challenge, you must do single leg leg press for your body weight! If your body weight is 80kg, that means you do 80 repetitions. Now we aren’t complete monsters so the reps are evenly distributed between legs. That means those 80 reps are divided up between legs. So 40 reps on one side, 40 on the other! You only get one 30 second rest per leg!

How to do a leg press

1. Ensure your feet are shoulder width apart and with your toes slightly pointing outwards

2. Your knees should be soft and never locked out at the top of the motion

3. Ensure that your butt not lifting off the seat and your back stays flat. Keep your head back.

4. Engage your core and then lower the weight so that your knees are at 90 degrees. Hold for 1 second

5. Push through your full foot (not just your toes) back to the starting point

6. Breathe in on the descent and breathe out as you push the weight back up.
