Ingredients
Method
- Start by slicing your steak into thin strips ala stir fry. The thinner the strips the quicker the meat will cook.
- Turn on the stove and put a splash of extra virgin olive oil in.
- Once the pan is hot, pop the steak strips in start stirring them around
- While the steak is browning, start slicing your onion up into thin strips and avoid crying.
- Once the steak has browned up, add the onion to the pan.
- Thinly slice your mushrooms up.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of beef stock to the pan. You should have some water from the steak at the bottom of the pan so you can use that to mix the stock into a brown liquid.
- Simmer for a 3 minutes and then add your mushrooms
- Simmer for another 5 minutes and now add your sour cream and light cream and mix them in. The sour cream will likely look a little piecey so you will need to thoroughly stir it in. Simmer for 5 minutes
- Get a small cup and ladel 2-3 table spoons of the liquid from the pan into it. Add 1 tablespoon of gravox and make a smooth paste. Add to the pan and stir in thoroughly.
- All to thicken for 5ish minutes. You should be ready to then serve with either some pasta or rice!
